It was a wet, windy night in 1995 that I arrived at the old Park Lee Hospital, there I met Stuart Weardon who I already knew. I also met Graham Wilbraham and a young lady who was the secretary at the time.

After a few weeks of training I was allowed to broadcast live for the first time. R.H.B. Later moved to what is now The Royal Blackburn Hospital.  So more training on the new equipment. We also acquired the computer system that we now use. This allows us to broadcast all of the time.

I have always enjoyed my time at the radio station, and I have worked with some great people. I have been working with Adam Davey for the past eleven years, and we have had a good relationship.

I have always tried to bring something different to the patients.  Also I have played music by many artists from the North West. I never thought that I would be here for thirty years.

I would like to thank both the N.H.S. and R.H.B. For giving me the opportunity to broadcast to the patients of East Lancashire and the world through the computer system.

But all good things must come to an end so I have decided to leave while I am still able to try something new. I wish R.H.B.  All the best for the future.
